sightseeing & vintage shopping in Paris

These are a few photos from my trip to Paris where my boyfriend took me to for my birthday. I never thought I would say or write these words, but I am a veryyy lucky girl! Paris is such a romantic and pretty city - the architecture and Montmartre make it definitely to one of my favourite cities in the world. We had a lovely time there so I thought it would be nice to share some tips and places we discovered.

1. Where to stay: If you are looking for a romantic and central Hotel have a look at the little Boutique Hotel Taylor. It's a really lovely hotel and has a supermarket, Metro station and many lovely cafés/restaurants close to it.

2. Where to lunch: Le Marais is trendy area with many lovely bars/cafés/restaurants. The arty restaurant Page 35 is not far from the Metro station Saint-Paul and has great lunch offers.

3. Where to dine: Visit L'Auberge Café for an amazing three-course meal in an intimate atmosphere (The french onion soup and duck were delicious!). The restaurant is located at the Seine, which makes a romantic Paris by night walk after dinner perfect.

4. Where to shop: I was surprised how cheap vintage shopping is in Paris. The first shop I went to was Chinemachine, it is not far from Sacre-Coeur and has a great selection of Vintage pieces. I bought a scarf print blouse with butterflies for only 7€. In the area Le Marais you can also find cute little boutiques and great vintage shops. One of the best ones I have genuinely ever been to is Les Georgettes. There you can find the most amazing selection of black boots, leather jackets and dresses. Every item seems to have something special about it and is in superb condition. The sale bit in the basement with vintage items from 5€-15€ is great for bargain hunters and students on a budget. Here I found for only 10€ a lovely black and white dress with a peter pan collar and embellishments, which reminds me a lot of Chanel. If you are looking for something more exquisite have a look in the boutique Studio W opposite, which is dedicated to vintage designer pieces.
