Black, yellow, green or red?

I need these boots from ASOS in my life! They look absolutely perfect for cold autumn/winter days but what colour should I get? The classic black ones? The funky yellow ones? The forest green or pretty burgundy ones? Arghh I really can't decide...help!

Ohhh ich muss mir unbedingt diese Schuhe von ASOS holen. Sie sind absolut perfekt um durch Kälte & Schnee zu stampfen. Ich kann mich bloß noch nicht entscheiden welche Farbe ich nehmen soll? Das klassische Schwarz oder doch lieber das ausgefallene gelb? Oder vllt doch lieber das schöne grün oder dunkelrot? Hilfeeee!

Alexa Chung for Madewell

We all know Alexa Chung is cool. When I saw this Sneak Peak video for her Madewell collection though I realised she is even cooler than I thought she is. The way her hair blows in the wind, the way she smiles and her amazing triangle necklace...I don't wanna say it's a girl crush but I could watch this video all over again and again and again. The beautiful song 'All die young' by Smith Westerns and the nostalgic touch of the video paired with Alexa Chungs beauty will most defintely make this collection successful.

Das Alexa Chang einfach nur cool ist wissen wir alle. Das sie allerdings SO umwerfend ist ,weiß ich erst seitdem ich sie in diesem Madewell sneakpeak Video gesehen habe. Die Vintage Stimmung und tolle Musik, gepaart mit Alexas unbeschwerten Art ist einfach nur traumhaft. Eins ist sicher und zwar, dass die Kollektion schneller ausverkauft sein wird als du 'girl crush' sagen kannst.

Primark A/W 2011 (yes already)

As probably every student Primark is the first place to go if you are looking for something nice & affordable. Today I discovered the Primark A/W 2011 lookbook and some other sneak peaks I wanna share with you. It seems like next season the low cost fashion chain sticks to bright colours but mixes them with some knitwear, 60's 70's inspired clothes and high heeled loafer shoes. The only negative thing is probably that horrible purple/pink. Reminds me of a time when I loved exactly this colour and wanted to buy every single item from H&M looking like it (shoes, bag, t-shirt, eyeliner).

 Loving this coat with fur collar! With 45 pounds a quite high price for Primark though. Let's hope the buttons won't fall off for the extra money.

 Good to see my all favourite autumn/winter colour burgundy again. Also nice collar details on this jacket.

Topshop Autumn 2011

The summer hasn't even started yet but I feel the urge to share the new Topshop autumn collection for 2011 with you guys. The upcoming trends are: Bavaria, Thrift, Psychobilly and Glamrock. Bavaria (1) covers the boho look with fur and maxi skirts. Thrift (2) is something for vintage girls who are loving mid length skirts and pretty blouses in soft colours. Psychobilly (3) presents the rebellious 60s look with strong colours/mix of materials and Glamrock (4) equals 70's rock chic. I think that the looks are a bit disappointing. There is nothing new and nothing genius about it in my eyes. However some pieces are quite cute for example the Thrift (2) beige coat with the white fur and the shoes/boots in this autumn season. What is your favourite Topshop autumn trend?

A day at Darling & Darimeya in London.

Last monday I had the great opportunity to see the A/W11 collections of Darling and Darimeya in London. Darlings showroom (just around the corner from Topshop/Oxford street!) is absolutely beautiful. White walls, cute teapots, plates on the walls and cupcakes reflected their romantic-vintage brand image very well. My favourite pieces from the collection are defintely the two coats with lace details in burgundy and dark jade green  (not only because I'm obsessed with jackets in general). Also it was also refreshing to see another form of lace. This time it is influenced by the fringing trend of S/S11 and makes the dress look more edgy and playful. I'm in love with Darling since Pure London 2010 but their new showroom and collection made me realise that I can easily imagine myself working for this brand.

The next stop was Darimeyas showroom on Portobello Road. This brand stands out because of their super cute, unique prints on silky dresses. One of the dresses I loved was floaty and teal with white polkadots. Very vintagy, very cute. I remember a time when I couldn't stand polkadots at all. I felt sick when I saw a shirt with it. I hope this feeling doesn't return too soon. At the moment I feel this way about camel coloured things. I'm very glad that A/W11 will bring back rusty oranges and deep reds. On monday I combined my chunky boots and leather jacket with a floaty, feminine, pleated midi skirt (Monki) and light yellow, knotted top (Topshop). I just love mixing soft and hard materials to create my look.

Chloé A/W11

Hannah McGibbon created another stunning collection for Chloé mixing hard and soft materials. Python, wide leg silky trousers, a colourful patchwork poncho and jumpsuits reflect the popular 70s mood on the catwalk. Another thing about this collection what makes me very happy: No overall use of camel anymore. Next A/W season will include more "spring" colours such as turqoise, pale yellow and orange. I love it. Chloés bags are just as beautiful as always and I wonder when I can finally afford my first Chloé bag from my own money.
