Instaweek: London

Yesterday was a very exciting day and London was as beautiful as always. For lunch we went to Hummus Bros in Soho, which was really yummy! I read about it on the Internet and having a boyfriend who can eat a whole Tesco Hummus tub on his own in a few minutes, I knew this was the right place to go for us. Well, I was hoping the good food would make him feel strong enough to venture through all the shops I wanted to visit...but I'm afraid it did not help. Later on in the day he feel asleep in Topshop's Eat café! 
One of my shopping destinations was of course the new & other stories store and what else is there to say than IT'S AMAZING! The modern, bright store design paired with a wide range of beauty products and gorgeous shoes make clear why Scandinavian brands are so popular at the moment. I was walking around the store with very big eyes, but couldn't afford as much as I wanted to unfortunately. However, I bought a little "earring" and received a few lemon body lotion samples as well, amazing!

Gestern war ich für einen Tag in London und nach einem aufregenden Mittag, ging es zum lunchen zu Hummus Bros in Soho. Für Fans von Hummus ist es auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert! Gesund, lecker und frisch! Ich hatte gehofft, dass das gute Essen meinen Freund für die anstehende Shoppingtour stärken würde, aber leider war das wohl leider nicht der Fall...er ist doch glatt bei Topshop im Café eingeschlafen! Natürlich war auch ein Besuch bei & other stories ein Muss. Das moderne, helle Ladendesign und das Visual Merchandising sind auf jeden Fall sehr beeindruckend. Vor allem die Schuhecke im 2. Stock hatte es mir angetan, aber am Ende habe ich dann doch nur ein Ohrring gekauft. Beim Kauf gab es sogar Bodylotion Proben dazu, echt super!

H&M X Brick Lane Bikes

Since 2004, H&M collaborated with luxury designers. From Karl Lagerfeld to Maison Martin Margiela, all the sudden everyone of us could afford luxury items. Personally, I found these collaborations more and more disappointing over time and I'm glad to see that H&M's choice in collaborations is changing! On the 7.3.2013 H&M's capsule men's collection with Brick Lane Bikes will be available in stores and online. The 11 piece collection ranges from waterproof jackets to vintage-inspired bike jerseys made from sustainable materials. The vibrant colours and thought through functionality make this collection definitely a great addition to the wardrobe. This collaboration choice is not only right on trend but also much more authentic and surprising than its high-end designer collaborations.

Wenn wir von H&M hören denken viele von uns sicherlich gleich an die zahlreichen Designer Kollektionen, die die Marke schon seit 2004 für die breite Masse erhältlich macht. Nun hat H&M sich endlich etwas Neues einfallen lassen und bringt zusammen mit Brick Lane Bikes eine Kollektion für Fahrradfahrer raus! Ab dem 7.3.2013 wird die 11-teilige Kollektion, die nachhaltig produziert wurde, in über 180 Läden und online erhältich sein. Mit dieser Kollktion reagiert H&M  auf den jetzigen Fahrradtrend und erschließt sich außerdem eine neue Zielgruppe.

Now it's getting colder and colder everyday I seem to be turning away from my usual choice of colourful and patterned clothes and tend to look out for black leather and good quality items which keep me warm. One of my most recent buys is the green H&M merino wool jumper. When I saw the beautiful watercolour print on it I was in love straight away and had to order it...plus the jumper was on sale! Now that I'm in my third year of university I try to keep my eye open for things I could wear at work. The ASOS scallop bag seems to be the perfect bag for an interview/work and has the perfect size too! This season the Chelsea boots from Acne have filtered down to the highstreet and everyone seems to be wearing them at the moment. I wonder if the next big thing will be the Acne's Cypress boots? They are available in black, wine red and chestnut as well as in a flat version. I think all of them look absolutely gorgeous and I would definitely not mind a cheaper version of these £460 boots. Lastly, I came across these amazing crystal soaps on Free People's website. They would make a great present and are all natural!

Auch in England wird es nun immer kälter und ich halte Ausschau nach warmen Dingen, die ich auch tragen kann wenn ich arbeite. Denn...man kann es kaum fassen...ich bin schon in meinem finalen Uni Jahr! Vor kurzem habe ich den grünen H&M Pullover im Sale gekauft. Er ist aus Merinowolle und das wunderschöne Muster hat mich einfach sofort überzeugt. Da ich bald (hoffentlich) viele Bewerbungsgespräche haben werde, suche ich momentan nach einer schwarzen, A4 großen Ledertasche, die aber nicht langweilig/spießig aussieht. Besonders gut gefällt mir die ASOS Tasche mit dem süßen Muschelrand - einfach perfekt!  Soooo und falls du auch noch nach einem Geschenk suchst, wie wäre es mit den natürlichen Edelstein-Seifen? Finden kannst du diese bei Free People, sowie direkt bei den jeweiligen Seifenmarken.

doves-there goes the fear

Look at me I'm a poser - but only because I had to find a way of showing you my new beautiful jumper! Metallic and glittery jumpers are a big trend this winter again and will probably always be. Mine is blue metallic and from (believe it or not) H&M's kids section. Finally the sleeves aren't too long for me and it was a bargain as well.

Ich bin ja kein großer Fan von Webcam Posing, aber leider hatte ich keine andere Wahl euch meinen neuen tolle Pullover zu zeigen! Diesen Winter sind Metallik- und Glitzereffekte mal wieder ein großer Trend (sowie eigentlich jedes Jahr) und ich habe ein besonders tolles Schnäppchen gemacht. Denn mein blauer Metallik Pullover stammt aus der H&M Kinderabteilung! Unfassbar  wie stylish sich die Kids von heute anziehen und glücklicherweise passt Größe 170 wie angegossen.

Itsy Bitsy Teennie Weenie Bikini

Summer time. Bikini time. H&M got more beachwear in such as some beautiful art-deco inspired bikini. Now I only have to decide which one to buy but I don't have a clue yet. Oh dear.

I need summer shoes.

Every summer I have trouble finding shoes to wear. I want comfy wedges, which are just a bit open and don't cost the world. Just today H&M brought out wooden summer shoes by H&M and the cult shoe label Swedish Hasbeens. Together they created some beautiful clogs using handcrafted methods and environmental friendly materials. All inspired by the traditional swedish style of the 70s. My favourite shoe is definitely the peep-toe slip-on wedge on a wooden sole, with snake-effect leather laced on top.
